When I was ten years old I woke up one morning and I couldn’t walk. The doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me and I was finally misdiagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was on crutches for three months and took twelve ibuprofen a day until what seemed to be a virus left my body. I had always been a very active and athletic child, playing competitive sports like hockey from the age of six, so during my illness I found solace with the computer my father purchased for me. Maybe I had watched the movie “War Games” too many times, but I always felt that computers were somehow the future path of evolution. In any case, soon after recovering my ability to walk I was able to play hockey again and we ended up winning the state championships that year. Without that experience I may have never realized the impact computers could have at such a young age.
I later met my wife at the University of Illinois and soon after graduation we relocated to Tucson, Arizona. I started designing websites and later transitioned into internet marketing, and finally SEO. I secured a client for a reputation management contract which lead to about 7 more referrals and then I expanded into Phoenix where I made contacts who referred me to some of our national and global clients. I will always be extremely grateful to be involved in an industry that I enjoy, while providing value to myself and others.
Prior to SEO and internet marketing, I worked in software and advertising sales. I was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and told my High School guidance counselor that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. My wife and I always thought we’d be lucky to have only one child, but instead we were blessed with twins, a boy and a girl, and our youngest son. When we aren’t working we enjoy spending time at our cabin on Mt. Lemmon, the Southernmost ski slope in the United States.
